The question: what does a buyer still need to see?

A product page can contain the right information and still make comparison difficult. We reviewed five selected Amazon UK listings to show how a marketplace team can turn public data into a focused listing brief. This is an illustrative audit, not a category-wide benchmark.

The useful finding: clarify the product format and show what is included before proposing more advertising.

First, compare the right products.

The sample contains four complete kits and one refill. The EVAQ8 rucksack has a different format from a wall-mounted case; the Value Aid refill is not a complete kit. They should not be treated as interchangeable offers. Prices below are Keepa’s latest recorded new-offer prices at the 23 October 2026 snapshot, in GBP, excluding delivery. They are not necessarily the Buy Box or checkout price.

Image counts describe the catalogue response, not image quality. Product formats and stated kit specifications differ.

One image. Several unanswered visual questions.

Quantity, not quality. Different formats; no causal link with sales established.

Make the contents easier to understand.

  1. Gallery: Keepa returned one product image; the live listing also showed one gallery thumbnail.
  2. Contents: the bullets list included items. A contents photo could make that information easier to scan.
  3. Catalogue consistency: the “What’s in the box?” field displayed “No Components”, despite the contents in the bullets. Check and correct the structured attribute.

Public listing checked on 23 October 2026. Display can vary by locale and variant. Reliance Medical is a Storm X client; this public-page review is not evidence of changes made by us or a new client performance result. Product photograph: Amazon listing / respective rights holder.

A six-image brief to test.

01 / Identify

Main image: the exact product on a pure white background. Only what is sold; no props, overlays or unsupported claims.

02 / Explain

Secondary images: accurate included contents, verified dimensions and useful product details. Match the actual ASIN and variant.

03 / Reassure

Show use context and the correct configuration without implying extra kits or accessories are included.

The pencil in the storyboard is only a secondary-image scale idea, not an included item. The multiple views are not a multipack. Replace all generated product details with verified photography before use. Confirm the applicable Amazon category rules.

What Keepa cannot tell us.

Category Best Sellers Rank is not keyword position. Offer-price history does not prove conversion or profitability. These five listings do not establish that more images cause more sales; product format, stock, advertising and variation structure can all matter.

Use account data to establish sessions, unit session percentage, orders and contribution margin. Keep the ASIN, marketplace and measurement window consistent. For eligible brand-registered products with sufficient traffic, Amazon Manage Your Experiments can test supported content changes. Agree the primary metric and duration before starting; do not call a noisy short-term change a win.

A practical priority list.

  1. Fix conflicting product attributes and confirm the exact offer.
  2. Commission accurate contents and detail photography.
  3. Prepare localized titles and image copy around real buyer questions.
  4. Test eligible changes and review conversion alongside margin.
