TL;DR — Holistic Unity is the marketplace of certified holistic therapists (ThetaHealing®, Reiki, Astrology, Ayurveda, Human Design + 5 more modes). Storm X built the entire digital infrastructure in 30 days: native iOS app client side, WebApp dashboard therapist side, onboarding system and verification. Immediately after the launch we took charge of the acquisition on both sides: multichannel outreach to attract qualified therapists, ads + content marketing SEO to bring end customers. This is behind the scenes.
The problem: two audiences, one product to build
When the founder of Holistic Unity he contacted us, the challenge was classic of an early-stage marketplace: need both sides to startBut you can build one at a time.
Late final customers: people looking for holistic wellness sessions (ThetaHealing®, Reiki, Naturopathia, family constellations, astrological readings, Human Design). They want a mobile-first app, simple, with already verified therapists and immediate booking.
Late Therapists: serious wellness professionals who today work via Instagram DM or WhatsApp, without a platform that manages calendar, payments, video sessions and professional profile. They want a desktop/web tool (manage the work from the computer).
Two different audiences → two different products → two timelines that would normally be 3-6 months each. Translated: 6-12 months before having a functioning marketplace.
The founder wanted both operating in a monthIt seemed impossible by traditional methods.
The solution: Claude Code + radical parallelism
The intuition that made possible 30 days is simple: instead of building an app first, then the other, we built simultaneously both using Claude Code as an AI-accelerated development engine.
The operating workflow:
- Shared Specification: a single product spec document with the two user streams (client + therapist) and the shared backend.
- Unified Backend: a REST API that serves both apps. Calendar, profiles, payments, video sessions live in a single data scheme.
- Parallel frontends: native iOS app (Swift + SwiftUI) for customers, WebApp React-based for therapists. Same designer, same brand system, two implementation languages.
- Daily Iteration: Every day the founder saw both builds upgrade. No "consign to the end of the project", no surprises.
What came into production
App iOS Customers (sing) holisticunity.app):
- Browse holistic modes with filtered categories (10 modes including ThetaHealing®, Reiki, Astrology, Ayurveda, Human Design)
- Therapist profiles verified with bio, modes, reviews
- Availability calendar in real time
- Booking + payment in-app
- Integrated video session (no external app)
- Push notifications for reminder and follow-up
WebApp dashboard therapeutics:
- Onboarding KYC with certification verification (therapists must be validated before appearing)
- Professional editable profile (photo, bio, mode, prices, languages)
- Calendar management: time blocks, holidays, celebrations
- Dashboard payments + automatic payouts
- Video room session
- Personal Analytics: reservations, turnover, reviews
The numbers of development
What does "30 days" mean translated into concrete metrics:
| Metrics | Holistic Unity | Traditional agency |
|---|---|---|
| Total time | 30 days calendar | 6-12 months |
| Team size | 2 seniors | 5-7 (PM, designer, 2 dev iOS, 2 dev web, QA) |
| Feature in production | 27 user stories | 15-20 at the same time |
| Iterations with the founder | Daily (30 review) | Bi-week (12-15 review) |
| Property code | Founder owns 100% | Often lock-in agency |
The speed multiplier is not "we are cutting corners". It is a different workflow. Claude Code allows 2 seniors to do what 5-7 people did in the agency model years 2010-2020. The part that remains human is the most important: discovery, product decisions, architectural code review, user testing.
Therapist side: structured multichannel outreach
Once you live both apps, the problem "cold marketplace" is classic: you built the roads but you have neither car nor passengers. Storm X also took charge of this, separating the two sides with different methods.
Late supply supply (skilled holistic therapy): 1-to-1 multichannel outreach, because wellness professionals do not respond to an ad banner. You have to reach them where they are, speak their language, show concrete value.
The 4 active channels are identical to the model we use for SMEs B2B (see outbound multichannel), adapted to the wellness target:
Channel 1 — Custom Instagram DM
The holistic therapists live on Instagram. 90% of their funnel today is IG Approach:
- Scraping qualified for mode (#thetahealing, #reikimaster, #vedicastrology, etc.)
- Filtering: minimum 1,000 active followers, last 30 days post, bio professional
- DM 1-to-1 written after seeing real profile content (not template)
- Rate limiting: max 30 DM/day per account not to trigger bans
Channel 2 — LinkedIn outreach (modality with professional presence)
For more "corporate" seniority mode (psych astrology, Human Design, Systemic Mediation), LinkedIn works. Approach:
- Sales Navigator + job title filters ("Holistic Therapist", "Wellness Coach", "Energy Worker")
- Connection + personalized follow-up message after accept
- No immediate pitch: first you build the relationship, then you introduce the platform
Channel 3 — WhatsApp (for therapists already contacted on other channels)
Once the therapist responds to IG or LinkedIn, you move to WhatsApp for continuous dialogue. Custom audio-notes convert 5× the written text for this target (the voice transmits authenticity in a vibration-based industry).
Channel 4 — Email warm-up sequences
For therapists who have a professional website, we send educative email sequences that explain the benefits of joining a verified marketplace (vs be "one out of a thousand" on Google). 5-7 touchpoint sequences in 21 days.
The 4 channels are synchronized: if a therapist responds to IG, the other channels stop. No bombing, no "I already wrote you on 3 platforms."
Customer side: ads performance + content SEO
Late demand (people looking for holistic sessions), the game is completely different. Here you do not go looking for a professional niche: go to intercept who is already looking "ThetaHealing online" or "astrological consultation" on Google and Instagram.
Two legs in parallel:
Performance Ads (Instagram + Google)
- IG/Meta Ads: targeting interests + lookalike on the first customers who have booked. Short video creativity (15-30 sec) with micro-storie of transformation.
- Google Ads: cover on high-intent keywords ("ThetaHealing online", "Human Design consulting", "experienced astrologer", "distance reiki")
- Retargeting: who visited the page of a therapist but did not book receive custom ads sequence 7-14 days
Content SEO long-form
To reduce dependence on ads and build a long-term asset, we are publishing blog post pillar on holisticunity.app optimized for industry information queries:
- "What is ThetaHealing® and how it really works"
- "Difference between karmic Astrology and Psychological Astrology"
- "How to choose a serious Human Design therapist"
- "Online family constellations: do they really work?"
- "Reiki at distance: science behind experience"
Each item is an investment of 6-12 months (SEO does not scale in 30 days), but at regime will lead qualified traffic free that converts much better than ads (intent search > intent broadcast).
Analytical + reporting automations are built over Make.com (Also see our comparison Make vs Zapier): every meeting booked, every KPI, every acquisition cost flow into real-time dashboards that can be consulted by the founder without asking for reports.
What we learned (things that work)
Three lessons from the first weeks post-launch:
1. Two-sided marketplace = two different go-to-markets
The common mistake is to apply the same playbook on supply and demand. For Holistic Unity therapists respond only to outreach 1-to-1 staff (low volume, high quality), while end customers reach only to SEO + ads shots (high volume, average conversion). Same money spent, different target → different tools.
2. Verification wins the promise
The differentiator of Holistic Unity on the market is not "we have holistic therapists online". There are a thousand platforms. we verify certifications before showing them. On a market where 85% of "therapists" on Instagram is self-declared, this is the difference that converts.
3. The founder owns the code
Aver written all in Claude Code with standard architecture (Swift + Node + Postgres) means that at the end of the project the founder has the complete repository. No lock-in, no "if you pay us the retainer we give you the key to the code." If tomorrow he wants to bring internal development, he can do it without having to rebuild from scratch.
The next steps
The first month was construction + launch. The next 90 days are scales + optimization:
- Expansion of the mode catalog from 10 to 25
- Localization: after the Italian MVP, multi-language app (EN, ES, DE)
- Android App (Therapist WebApp is enough, but customers want Android)
- Referral system: every customer who invites a friend has a discount on the next session
- Loyalty program for top performer therapists (lower commission rate)
All this is in roadmap with the same philosophy: ship fast, iterate weekly, founder always sees what's coming.
