At a glance. A three-market Amazon launch with catalogue expansion, localised presentation and advertising management. The case reports €51,500 in sales and 3,200 units across the three-month period.
The brief: build a presence beyond the UK
Abeec is a UK toys and creative-activities business offering accessible products across stationery, craft materials, games and related categories. The engagement focused on Amazon Italy, Germany and France.
The challenge went beyond translation. The catalogue needed to be relevant to each market, product pages needed to communicate clearly and advertising needed to work alongside stock and account operations.
Three connected workstreams
- Catalogue: begin with 40 ASINs, research relevant search terms by market, improve titles and bullet points and expand the selection to more than 80 ASINs during the period.
- Content: prepare localised imagery, copy, infographics and A+ content where applicable, then review consistency across each product page.
- Advertising: structure keyword, product and category targeting, review competitor context and reallocate expenditure based on the available account data.
The work needed coordination across content, catalogue and advertising. Promoting an incomplete page or a product with an unresolved operational issue would make it harder to interpret performance.
Localisation was part of the product presentation
The case includes stationery and craft examples in French and German, alongside marketplace imagery and A+ material. Localisation covered the words visible in the images as well as the listing text.
A useful product gallery explains the product, contents, quantity and intended use. Content changes should stay accurate to the item sold and be checked against the marketplace’s current requirements.
Results reported for the three-month period
| Marketplace | Reported sales | Reported units |
|---|---|---|
| Italy | €15,000 | 900 |
| Germany | €18,000 | 1,200 |
| France | €18,500 | 1,100 |
| Total | €51,500 | 3,200 |
The original case also reports a monthly sales run rate above €40,000, €6,000 in advertising expenditure and advertising ROAS of 6.65×. The source does not reconcile the attribution windows for those figures with the three-month total, so they should be read as separately reported measures rather than one arithmetic calculation.
Overall sales and advertising-attributed sales are different measures. These reported results describe the specific engagement and period; they are not a forecast for another brand.
What the work established
The engagement combined a larger catalogue, market-specific content and an operating advertising structure across three countries. The next decisions depended on stock, product demand, advertising performance and the ability to support each marketplace.
The value of the case is the coordinated launch process and the reported commercial outcome. It does not establish that every catalogue expansion or content change will produce the same return.
